Abstract

The process of photosynthesis of bright reactions generally takes place during the day with the help of sunlight. But the process of photosynthesis can also occur with the help of other than sunlight. LED lights can emit the color of light which can accelerate the process of photosynthesis. Blue for the vegetative phase and red for the generative phase. This experiment was carried out to prove that photosynthesis can still take place with the help of LED light. This research was conducted using Ingenhousz experiments on Amazon sword (Echinodorus bleheri). The experimental results show that there are air bubbles, especially in the sixth minute after irradiation with LED lights that indicate the presence of oxygen from photosynthesis in the amazon sword plant.
